WHAT ABOUT GERMANS ARTIST ? WICHT ONE OF THE RENIASSNS ARTIST IS MORE SIMILLAR TO GERMANS CUBIM ARTIST AND PIET MONDRAIAN

The Renaissance artist 'most similar' to Dutch painter Piet Mondrian is Leonardo Da Vinci. Both of them made use of the Golden Rectangle, a unique and a very important shape in mathematics. The Golden Rectangle appears in nature, music, and is also often used in art and architecture. The special property of the Golden Rectangle is that the ratio of its length to the width equals to approximately 1.618
The Golden Rectangle is considered to be one of the most pleasing and beautiful shapes to look at, which is why many artists have used it in their work.
e.g. da Vinci used it in his masterpiece the Mona Lisa e.g. if you If you draw a rectangle around her face, that rectangle will turn out to be golden.; and, e.g. a golden rectangle can be drawn from her neck to just above the hands.
Mondrian in his paintings in an abstract style was famous for the use of horizontal and vertical black lines which formed the basis of many of them. Like Da Vinci, Mondrian believed that mathematics and art were closely connected. He used the simplest geometrical shapes believing that any shape could be created from them. The Golden Rectangle is one of the basic shapes, which keeps appearing in Mondrian's art:
E.g in his Composition in Red, Yellow, and Blue (1942) there are many golden rectangles.
